Police Brutality / Civil Rights

No one is above the law — including the police.

If you were subjected to excessive force, wrongful arrest, or a violation of your constitutional rights, you may have grounds for a civil rights lawsuit. We represent individuals whose rights have been violated by government authorities.

Common cases include:

• Excessive force

• Wrongful arrest

• Civil rights violations under federal law

These cases are complex and require experienced legal representation. We investigate thoroughly, preserve evidence, and pursue accountability through the courts.

Mr. Ghassemkhani is also uniquely qualified by the State Bar of California to handle serious capital crimes, including murder charges for clients with multiple convictions.

Serious felony cases are challenging, but Mr. Ghassemkhani's case record includes three consecutive acquittals on such serious charges. After obtaining a favorable verdict, the client was free to leave that day. Mr. Ghassemkhani has been able to convince juries of self-defense to deliver "not guilty" verdicts.
